Hi just purchased a 1990 rsp cooper looked very nice but has various rusty bits and some “very functional “repairs. 

It has a long mot (mot inspector must have used a rubber hammer!!)

Anyway it will most likely in future need inner and outer sills and a passenger side flitch , there’s also a poor repair on the scuttle passenger side.

Engine and gear box seem good although a little vague selecting 3rd.

Had an 1100 special years ago (never seen one since) and a carb rover cooper which it seems is still about (H935kel) let me know if you’re the current owner.

Welcome to TMF, been there done that with poor repairs on Minis, the good thing is it is all do-able with the mini, plenty of help on this forum.
