I wanted to change the brake discs (7,5”) and one of the flanges looked a bit weird. It should not have this ridge around it. The other one looked normal. This couldn’t be wear could it? Anyone any idea?

What does the hub look like ?

Looks like its been rubbing on the swivel hub ? incorrect spacing

It's worn out !

The Wheel Bearing has been rubbing on it for quite a while from the nut on the CV not being tight enough. The split type tapered washer that sits behind the nut doesn't help either.

Yeah, that's screwed,

You'll need to change the CV as the spline will be knackered, the tapered washer, and the wheel bearing too...

Thanks for the replies! I’ll have to dive in a bit deeper I see and not just replace the flange.
