looking for 1 pair used 165/60/R12 tyres (or similar) to put on my old rims just for the duration of the build

wheels will then be refurbed and new rubber put on before it gets driven, all these ones need to do is hold air.  profile / age / tread irrelevant

ideally close to dagenham / romford area, willing to part with cash obviously  :)

bidding on a 4th so might be sorted now fingers crossed

random query, if I've got 3 x 165/60/R12 and 1 x 145/70/R12, just for rolling the thing around while im working on it, that'll be fine wont it..  I won't be driving it or doing any setup until I have all fresh new tyres and refurbed wheels anyway

I'll swap them around when fitting arches so I always have a matched pair doing one end at a time

Better than the spacesavers you can see being driven around on for months.

but both sizes will still fit on the same rims won't they?  without the tyre man moaning about them being tricky to fit or anything ..

Yes, they'll fit & be fine. Using odd size tyres on the same axle for anything more than a one off isn't legal that's all - on public roads.

totally.. yeah this is literally just for pushing it around while working on it

actually it'll probably spend most of that time on dollies anyway but still
