Hi All,

Can anyone recommend an AC Dodd trained tuner or a professional tuner specialising in Minis in the Surrey area.

Would love to go to AC but somehow I don't think the Moop would make it to Salisbury in one go and I haven't got a free week. :D  :D

There are not trained tuners near you.

You can’t come to me, I have no premises, hence mobile only. I am fully booked for the rest of this year.

Vmaxcart is kind of close. That where I would go from Guildford.

Hi kit352.

Thank you for the information they are about five minutes away from me in West Molesey. The Moop should make it that distance. Just waiting on a  new Dizzy.

I responded. I don't live in the UK anymore so tuning is on me. There are no rolling roads that can handle such a small car either. Literally, I don't fit on the rollers because they are too wide.

Thank you for the clarification. I have actually had some information about them from another source which means I will not be booking the Moop in for a tune with them.

Really? That's interesting. Stuart is widely known as a top guy for tuning. God's, he is in almost every mini magazine running rolling road tuning competitions. The only other place nearby is that shop in Croydon and that's a hard no for me after what they did to my car. Stuart is the one that sorted it after.

Hi,

I will do some more research after that bit of information. Head scratching time I think.

I think Stuart gets some grief about tuning when it comes to his superchargers. They are finicky with the fueling and what works great one day goes to pot the next day when the weather changes. Thats really the only slight I have ever heard towards him and like I said, it's not really his fault it's just how the super chargers run. He has a bunch of really good videos on YouTube you can watch to see his work first hand so to speak.

Hi,

It was more to do with the super chargers I think that I had the negative comment so I will give him a call when ready to have the tuning done.
