The rocker cover photo seems to show some leak near the end bolt lower ( not stud) - and or just around the back also - this might just be after a clean down - but if you converted to 11 stud check the rocker cover hasn't been moved by that bolt - it may need a little dremel

From the pics and the words I would be cleaning everything with brake clean and also having a very good look at the rocker cover gasket. Over tightening will distort the gasket and cause leaks. Common practice is to RTV it to the cover so it has a better chance of not moving.

I'm sorry Nick. What do you mean with: "is RTV it to the cover"?Common practice is to RTV it to the cover so it has a better chance of not moving.
I don't know what RTV mean.

use a piece of cardboard as a former to hold the gasket in shape when you stick it on the rocker cover

I've had nothing but issues with the silicone ones, as above, bead of rtv rocker side, smear of grease head side. I also have a buck made by my dad 50 years ago where new gaskets sit on and take shape whilst 'in stock' - their a consumable.

I think it also depends what kind of rocker cover you have. I have the MG Metro one, and really no problems at all. I even took the rocker cover off a few times and re-use the gasket and again no leaking š

I store new gaskets on a spare valve cover, just slip them over the top, stretches them to the correct size. Works every time.

Can you add a picture of the carbs.

No positive crankcase breather system - the two breather ports on the carbs appear to be connected together with a black pipe.
Hardly surprising the engine leaks with the only breather being the filter head on the transfer gear case.
Try connecting the two breather canisters to the opposite carb breather ports. It doesn't matter about the lack of mesh in the timing chain cover breather at this stage.
