Hi all
It's been a long time since I was active in the Mini scene so I thought it was time to get back in the game.
My 1987 Park Lane has seen better days and a couple of years ago I thought it best to give it a full going over.
It's evolved in the time I since I came to own it back in 2000. Then it was a mildly tuned 998cc. It is now a 1430cc with a fair few cosmetic updates.
Here it is in happier condition.

Now back to the Skunk. There are a few features I want to incorporate onto the shell before going anywhere near paint. I don't want to start drilling or welding after it looks lovely. Some I have had on the car from before and others I want to do on this build.
One previous thing I want are the alternative indicator repeaters. These were a bit of an accident. The front end was replaced back in 2004/05 with older wings. These didn't have repeater holes, I liked the look, and ran it like this for a couple of years. But taking it to a different garage for MOT they failed it as it should have repeaters. Rather than cutting a square hole in the wing I got a pair of dash warning lights with a nice brushed aluminium ring and drilled them in instead.
Of course the new shell has the correct square holes that need to be filled and new round ones drilled.
Oh yes. And blank off the aerial hole
