Like most of the mini im putting back together this came in the box of wires and looms.
Can anyone tell me what it is?

Looks like flasher unit.

When you say flasher on stalk do you mean Headlight flasher, and where is it located on the car

Flasher = indicator.
Early cars had a green lamp on the end of the stalk that flashed (later cars had it as part of the clock(s)

Im pretty sure I don't have a flasher on the stalk (1977 gt clubby) It has a smaller squair flasher relay already so I'm not convinced it's that. I'm starting to think it may not even be off this car??? unless you have any other pointers.
