I've got a soft spot for Mini speedster's so I love this, but I'm not sure if the piece is suffering from journalistic enthusiasm, if I'm reading it right 3 people travelled across Europe in a 2 seater which I presume means the group are pretty ' friendly 'and they carried there instruments and luggage on the rack which leads me to surmise that they are some form of Kazoo beat combo.

I'll be nice and say, as long as the creator/owner likes it then thats all that matters.

For me, its got slightly weird proportions and has become a track toy and not one of any use in all weather in this country for sure. Fast with great handling and brakes is nice, but some practicality alongside that would be even nicer

Looks amazing but lost me at v8 to be honest, I'm all for engine swaps that are still 4 or maybe 5 pot but a v8 just takes it too far beyond the spec of the mini for my liking

Still I'm sure it's really fun and if the owner loves it, that's all that matters I guess

I know what you mean but I do admire the engineering skills in the FWD transverse V8 Minis.... like this Mini 3500GT below using practically all British Leyland parts, transverse mounted engine and front wheel drive just like proper Mini's !
