Hi All,  My first Mini was a 1960 registered Morris Minor, bought for £50 in 1983. It was used in hillclimbs all through the 80's, ending as a much altered Maguire look alike on 13 inch slicks. Since then I've had another 6 or so Minis of all sorts. My current car is a 1968 Mk 2 Cooper in Almond Green, bought of a Gent who rallied it for many years. My first question on the forum has so far gone unanswered, if anyone knows which way round S drive shaft collets go can you let me know, Cheers Guys.

floormanager, thanks for the reply. The Hardy Spicer diff output shafts have collets inside, these collets have a chamfer on one edge but it's not obvious which way they face. Any idea? I'm not entirely sure what they do either. Part number 88G493.
