I would call the mobile welder first, ask them if they are willing to undertake this kind of work.

A mobile welder is unlikely to be someone who welds body panels. Also either pay someone to cut them out and do everything or you'll need to weld them yourself. I'd hate to try and repair something where the panels have already been cut out by some random person and "prepared". You are unlikely to prepare them how a professional would like.

have spoken to the mobile welder. they are happy to do the work and have done many classic cars. so don't think any issues there. Ill make sure to have everything cut out properly and lined up.

My main concern is the sequence of getting the panels in. Which order would seem the most logical? Ill have the box section bracing welded in prior to cutting anything.

Is he likely to do all of that work in one visit? Without meaning to sound facetious I would say if he's experienced it may be better to ask him what he wants to do and in what order. Many ways to skin a cat and all that

The only ones I'd be concerned with and would probably focus on first are the ones that involve subframe fixings, the heel board for example you'd probably want one side left in while you use a jig or subframe itself to locate the other end bolts position. Then when that's done cut the other end off and do the same. So you wouldn't necessarily want to just cut both off straight away

Similarly if your boot repair section includes the rear fixing holes you'll want the subframe in while you at least tack the part in place

A panels, step, floor repair possibly done in one visit

Again though a conversation with the welder about what his methods would be might be more relevant

I think I would plan that the mobile welder has to make more than one visit to get it all done (and that might help you)

I would start on structural stuff, for example floor repairs, door steps and inner outer sills and heal board repairs. You would need to brace the shell with all that metal cut out.

Then maybe A panels

lastly cut out all the repairs for the boot

but as mentioned above, speak with your welder and see if he agrees
