Hi all,

I am looking a numeric version of the book called ‘How to modify your mini’ from David Vizard.

Does anyone have digital copy of this unicorn?

Thank you

You won’t find one.

I think our new member is looking for a pdf version, which as best I am able to tell, doesn't exist.

Very informative book.

I would first suggest that the Haynes is read and understood before you delve into the tuning depths of vizard.

A full understanding of a-series is very much required.

There are a few others available.

https://www.theminif...-haynes-manual/

I would also point you in the direction of the 1380 mininhuilder dvd collecton( probably available on youetube).

I would also suggestthe how to section on here.

https://www.theminif...-and-technical/

Save yourself some cash and keep,up to date there.

I would also request that a mini forum subscription is made as a gesture of thanks to maintain the web page and you can also get a discount at mini spares, which will cover the costs , usually within the first order.

Thanks and welcome to the forum.

There's surely scope for a new edition, the old one still isn't as old the Mini though so it's still a good read. His Tuning the A Series could be better depending on what you're after.

You could see if you can borrow a copy through the library.

My understanding is that there are financial reasons as to why monsieur Vizard will not allow another print run, but that could be just be Internet puff.

David Vizard kindly signed my 1977 copy of his 'How to Modify your Mini' book below at the 2012 Autosports Show at the NEC.

I did ask him about a new edition of the book, he seemed keen but sadly I don't think the original publisher HP Books was willing to finance the research and production of an updated edition.

I was gifted the one on the left and the one on the right might actually belong to someone I hope has forgotten about it as I think I borrowed it about 30years ago.

Ha, mine's a one (not so careful) owner from new, purchased from Friern Barnet Minispares, back in the day.  Happy Days.
