That's a scam. Notice how all the listings have different backgrounds. It's because they are all stolen from different sellers on eBay. I've seen scam sites like this before.
The backgrounds are always a good way to spot scams.
^This is exactly why I did an image search.
Give it time and AI will be able to generate much better fake sites for the scammers.

I've received a further email asking me if I received their first.
I've replied "As soon as our bankers can verify your company, our funds will be released. To speed this up, could you kindly supply us with your company registration certificate ".
If I get a reply, I anticipate it too will only be suspect.

Did seem odd the amount of suppliers they had. They'd have to be huge to carry all that stock, or if they were just sales agents, they'd surely be using the manufacturers' catalogue images.

Sorry to drag this one back up again.
We have been exchanging emails most of the week. I laid it on the line with them that I can't verify who they are and I'm concerned about being scammed.
They have come back and offered payment by Paypal.
Does anyone see an issue with that ? I'm somewhat inexperienced with it, particularly when it comes to issues and resolving them.

Paypal is no safer than any other method.
If you pay then don't use friend and family as thats not protected.
If you don't get the product you still have to deal with paypal to get your money back and thats no guarantee.
I still have to say that the website looks dodgy to me. Apart from the fact I've image searched a number of the products and they are all listed elsewhere, the website itself looks un-finished. Check the https://voltaelectri...nd-Returns.html page and see the top paragraph about editing it.
This looks like a web template thats not been finished.
I'm also weary of any business using a gmail address as their contact. If you have a website why not use an address with your domain name.

Mate, this is exactly why I've posted what I have. Where it comes to IT and the internet in anything more than a fairly basic way, I'm pretty much all thumbs. Beautiful people like yourself here have way more experience than I'll likely ever have, information and feedback like this is most helpful.
There's nothing to be sorry about, however, if that really is your wishes, I'm sure I could arrange something (and yes, you know I'm a cheeky bastard !)

The one that caught my eye thats not covered is "Industrial machinery used in manufacturing"
I personally wouldn't consider electrical test equipment as "machinery" but I can't find a clear definition on paypal for what this includes and when anyone has asked on their forum it's been un-answered.

I was just going to have a good look at it for you for more proof it's a scam. Tried to access it and the site can't be reached. They've probably finished up the scam with that name, maybe they discovered this thread.

I think Paypal's T&Cs may vary for country to country, but when I read they, they state - at least for us in Australia - they is is NOT a guarantee that they will refund, in fact, it seemed on the weak side.
I didn't see that one about the 'Industrial machinery used in manufacturing' but I'm sure as they are the final word (of sorts!) they would class this as falling in to that category. It's actually a broad wording that does have far reaching legal meaning.
Matthew's Dad, That's possibly not a bad idea, but as you've mentioned, not really foolproof.
If my passport hadn't expired, I'd hop on a plane and go look for myself !

I wouldn't be sure the contract is Australian is you bought off a foreign company through their foreign website, even if you paid in Aussie dollars - using Paypal as an agent could make that even less likely.
A credit card would likely offer the most protection.
