Does anyone have a Mk I Super Deluxe, and can take some photos of the rear door pockets, specifically how the liners fit around the lights and ash trays? These bits disappeared during the restoration, and we're unsure how they fit now...

My 66 SDL doesn't have companion box lights. Only the ashtray.

Most later Mk1 Minis had an interior roof light instead of the rear companion box lights.

I thought it was only the very, very early MK1s that had companion bin lights. I have never a Mk1 with them in, and we have had a few over the years

As said later Mk1 Minis had an interior roof light instead of the rear companion box lights which were only fitted to early Minis, which was basically a black metal bracket screwed below the rear pocket ashtray with a small light bulb and a toggle switch.
