Is that post from MCCS? Are they connected to the people selling the new heads?
Actually looks like a Crafted Classics rocker cover badge.

The original post on FB did say that blocks were on the way, I believe that Minispares now have or are about to have their S block ready for sale. I've had a decent look over it and it's a proper job MS has done, it will make a superb basis for a new block build.

Lifted from the MK1 forum.....

Re: New cylinder heads

Advertising on FB & social media, asking for money up front, the address that is registered is one of someone I know, who has absolutely NOTHING to do with the project. Some of the characters involved have done a similar thing with Ford parts & a lot of people lost money.

All the signs are there!

BUYER BEWARE

Hmmm, so it's cash upfront job and not a shelf full of heads you can just buy.
If this was me selling these I'd have them already to go in various guises apart from the out and out super bespoke ones.
This seller, if legit, needs to get some heads out there on engines and get some reviews done to bolster public confidence ๐Ÿ‘

I'm actually wondering here if a scammer has lifted they other advertising to run their 'game' as parallel advertising.

I'm of little doubt that these new heads exist, it's obvious they are a different casting. Just how many exist might be another matter.

It seems they have sold at least some, does anyone know of a buyer ?

Surely to stop all this speculation, could one of our members who lives local just pop in to where the company selling them is and have a look? We must have someone close, if I was closer I would do it myself. Personally I think there is a legit seller and a scammer ( surprise surprise)
