Does anyone have a definitive measurement of the spacing.

From a drawing rather than measured.

i have some measured figures but wonder what the real measurement is.

Centre to Centre the Towers are 30-1/4" +/- 0.010"

If it's a Single Bolt, that's the bolt centres. If it's a Twin Stud, they are 1-1/2" either side of that also +/- 0.010"

So I actually have an MTB subframe and I am doing take a look at fittings to make sure my construct comes together properly. The guide would not explicitly communicate approximately what bush to use between the pinnacle of the subframe and the firewall box.

you have the option of rubber or solid

rubber - https://www.ebay.co....:Bk9SR6i6qreiZA the diamond shape goes on the subframe (below the crossmember) and the round one goes on top (below the bolt head)

solid versions are available and often preferred, I assume that would still be the case even with the different engine and subframe https://www.minispar...0.aspx|Back to  the ones with flat edges go on top to clear the triangular support brackets, the fully round ones go underneath

I don't know the bottom fixings are solid ?  if so I'm guessing you'd also want solid ones up top

(not from 1st hand experience  just supplying the links for reference purposes)

You must go either all-solid or all rubber. Never use the poly-bushes/mountings for reasons explained on here many times.
