Hi
I have a 1969 Austin Mini Countryman Mk2 Automatic.
Can anyone tell me if I can use a speedo cable from a manual mini? Also where does the cable connect to the gearbox?

The manual cables are exactly the same. it's on the front (fan) end of the engine as pictured below. Accessing it can be via sticking your hand up past the pot joint from underneath. due to the angle it is difficult, I usually use locking pliers to help grip the end of the cable to unscrew it.
