Can anyone tell me if the MPI lights, Wipers and indicators share any connections or relays etc? With my ignition on and headlights on my indicators light up, once the lights turn off on the stalk my Wipers wipe once....

These sort of problems are usually at a common earth. Half a dozen circuits may all be earthed at one point to the bodywork but if that earth is poor, you can get different circuits affecting each other. The first one to check on an MPI, in my opinion, is the earth just under the front of the expansion bottle. If you clean up all the connections there and the earth to the body, you may solve your issue. I can't remember what is earthed there but it's a common area for concern.
I'll have a look around and see if I can tell you what is being earthed there - the information will be on here somewhere in a pdf .
Good luck, Chris

My local Rover dealer added many additional earth wires into my mpi loom when I had troubles...
In their wisdom they suggested more was defiantly better..... I was just happy they dealt with it but when I stripped it down for a mild resto I was not so happy... they even rewired the radiator fan completely leaving all the old wires in the loom which stumped me for about a month...

The biggest culprit is always the earth block behind the expansion bottle. Remove it, clean up all the connectors and the brass connector in the plug, and Refit.

Exactly my issue, after a quick clean up all is well. Thanks all.
