Hi All

 

Just joined the forum, looks a great place for mini enthusiasts, bought an e-bay fixer upper for my wife last week as shes been wanting another mini again after 10 years without one.

 

Picked up a 1984 City E fairly locally that needs a bit of work but not too much. It seems to have been off the road since about 1992 in a farmers barn.

 

Learning curve for me as I've mainly worked on old Citroens and a few random things over the years, so i will apologise for all the dumb questions that I'm bound to need to ask at some point

If you know how to get at all those bits, on a Citroen, working on a Mini is a doddle.

Lets hope you are right, im enjoying it so far and it does all seem pretty straightforward but its at stripdown stage right now not the tedious welding/cutting/painting
