It is called the "Orbital Motorway", it doesn't go anywhere, it is roughly circular, Why isn't it the Em nought ?

that's a long old detour why can't you just go up the 318 through Addlestone

The A 318 is probably more congested than the M25 when it is at a total stand still all the way round. You have traffic lights under the railway bridge at New Haw and Byfleet station. You have got about three industrial areas on that road very close to each other with HGV and other commercial vehicles trying to get in and out of. Then you have bottle necks further up the road in Addlestone. I should think M and S and Tescos at Brooklands on the A318 will have a quite weekend because of the traffic. I aint going anywhere this weekend that takes me in that direction. The navigator in the picture to the left will be going to Bushy Park for his walks, ie in the opposite direction.

These closures are making me laugh, this will be the third time just to install a bridge, I recently watched a programme where the Dutch slotted a new bridge in overnight, and that bad boy was a full dual carriage way job, luckily the authorities have picked a nice quiet weekend with the FOS on FFS.
