Hi all, I just finished getting a door prepared for paint and noticed it hasn't got a upper retaining lip for the door card?
Did some of them come like that or am i missing something?

Never seen one like that before, even the Mk3 Elf/Hornets which were the first to get winding window doors (see below) had the door card upper retaining lip.

You can still see the marks where the retaining lip was attached.
