Hello All, I have a round nose panel van and I'm looking for some solutions to the rust in the cargo floor. I'm not looking to replace the cargo floor, I think that is a job too great. I don't think the problem is unique, so I'm wondering what solutions people have come up with. Whether it's fiberglassing or patching or a timber floor overlay. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cut out the rusty sections and fabricate new steel repair pieces.

Strongly advise to stay away from fiberglass and wood...

If it is worth fixing then fix it properly. Cut out the problem steel and replace the rust with new steel..

Afterall

You would not replace a tyre with a wooden one.... you would not replace a light bulb with a candle...
