Hello folks
My wife and I bought a 1994 (1993?) LHD Japan SPI Mini a couple of months ago after it was imported to the states and I've been working through the maintenance items so we can drive it as the fun car.
I've been an aircraft mechanic for more than 25 years and have had a lot of gearhead obsessions (offroad, motorcycles, BMW's) but this is my first Mini.
My wife had a new R53 in BRG in 2003 and gave it up when our 3rd baby (surprise!) showed up in 2012 and she's really wanted a classic for a long time.
Thanks a bunch for all the knowledge here, it has been an immense help in figuring out where things are and how they come apart.
