For those with expertise in the different panels, how close is the saloon roof (other than length obviously) to the contour of the pickup roof? Does simply cutting down the saloon roof length match the pickup profile? Why I ask is I plan to replace my rough pickup roof with a carbon fiber roof, and wondering if I can use a saloon roof for my mold or actually get a carbon saloon roof and just cut it down to work on the pickup.

Thanks for the input!

I think that "Carbon Fibre" is a bit 'over-the-top', even for a Full Race Pickup.

I would think a van or estate roof would be a better match to the pickup profile as they have a flatter profile than the saloon roof (..certainly front to back, but possibly also side to side)

probably worth getting in touch with one of the suppliers to ask their opinion if their panel can be made to fit

to be fair all roofs are 'over the top' if you think about it
