One of my brake disc shields from the Midas has been converted into a captive bolt spreader plate for mounting the pedalbox. Does a pretty good job!  ;D

it is noticeable with mini rad blowing into arch that LH disc has more grab from cold than RH but not enough that i put the shields back on, standard 8.4 set up with steady driving. with my car with s discs  I took them off to help cooling after hard driving caused major fade and butt clenching on a run.

If you run car as a daily the discs do corrode more without them fitted so really comes down to use
