I broke my key fob the most stupid way...
was told in email that high chance it's not fixable but have a go but still cost me for the attempt.
One of the chips 2 prongs was half off the circuit, by pushing it to circuit board I got it to work till it broke off completely leaveing me two prongs, the other two completely broken from the chip, went about soldering it.. made an absolute pigs ear of it... didnt work then I just binned it...
can I get a similar circuit board from another rover/MG car like ... landrover/metro/200/400/25/45/ZR ext fob off of ebay and have it programed? ...
it's a 17TN lucas 3TXD 53873753D circuit board
