Afternoon all, I've been a member for some time but haven't posted since I sold my pride and joy (1993 Rio) when buying a house back in 2005. I have regretted it ever since (we should've just lived in the car but my wife wouldn't wear it!) and yesterday i finally put the demons to rest when I bought my new project Max, a 1990 Checkmate. He came with 11 months MOT so I'm (hopefully) not going to get too deep into any restoration just yet, and content myself with fettling a couple of bits that need doing now like the hazards switch and the Speedo cable.
No doubt I'll have questions a plenty in due course. For now though it's just good to be back!
