Door open and puddle lights  :mrcool:
Courtesy lights in the rear bins
Electric windows
Heated seats  :-)

Nice, any photos of the door puddle lights?

I am overseas at the moment so can only show a picture of the light in the door and not lit up.  I will post a photo of it lit up on the floor when back next week.

All wired via the existing door switch? I do like this idea.

Yes - all grounded through the door pin switch but also a dash switch to turn off in case I want to leave the door open for sometime without isolating the battery.

Wiring was a bugger!

Mods on my '89S

I've put a proximity sensor in an old Winfield windscreen washer pump, so it looks standard but operates a hidden electric pump to blast the windscreen.

I've also fitted an intermittent windscreen wiper variable display to the wiper.  I built it from a kit in 1986 called Autowipe, supplied from an electronic supplier in Cirkit in Broxbourne.  It had been on my shelf since I removed it from my MK1 MG Metro Turbo in 1989 and one winter's day, I decided to see if I could get it to work in the mini.  Took a bit of head scratching as the mini motor was originally positive earth and works by earthing the motor but a couple of relays managed to get it to work.  It's cool as the interval is set by you turning on the wipers twice.  It remembers the interval and repeats!  Made me happy.

What's the boot/grommet you're using there?

If you search for cup holders on here and on other makes forums there are a multitude of ideas. But it would seem that no one can agree on what works best so it is personal choice.

They were the smallest I could find 25mm - eventually bought them from Aliexpress (Pack of 5).

5 pz 25x25mm cablaggio auto tubo porta tubo antipolvere filettatura tubo di protezione tubo di gomma nera resistente alla corrosione (aliexpress.com)

Sorry - it's in Italian as that's where I am at the moment!

I riveted on some garden edging to my flares to stop getting mud lines on the side of my mini.

I also have a box I made containing a HEI module which is triggered by points. I have it so that I can switch a plug to go from points & condenser to points triggered HEI. Unfortunately due to issues the HEI is now the backup to the points & condenser.

Fitted aftermarket radiator fan and then 6x9 speaker kits to minis I've owned. Relatively simple to do though

Speakers under the rear seat?

Yes, then also fitted a power socket and twin USB to a home made bracket under the lower dash rail.

I made these adjustable camber brackets and reverse gear lock-out lever when I was 17, that's 40 years ago now. Still in use on the same car.

Apologies for my ignorance but what are flares?
