spi is low pressure, i cant remember exactly what it is , but its like 1 bar, mpi will be more of 3 bar. I have a r100 that was spi, and i had to change the pump when i went to 1800.

why arnt you? if its on its original pump, you probably want to think about changing it anyway. Should straight swap i think.

It would have been nice to not have to do anything there. By 'straight swap' do you mean an MPI pump will swap into an SPI tank.?

if its old, it probably will brake, and hopefully you wont be stuck somewhere now as of it. A new pump should last for ages.

It likely depends on whether it's single or multipoint injection, same as the A Series.

Ethel, hello again.! Ok, this is a vvc so it'll be multipoint. I think I'll test the pressure from the SPI and find out what the K needs
If I could get on the 16v forum I'd be away but that's not happening

i just looked it is 1 bar for spi and it is 3 bar for mpi. Thats what they relieve off at on the reg, the pump will do more. When i did my R100 conversion everyone said change the pump as its not powerfull enough.
