Can you epoxy prime over gravitex?
Have epoxy underneath but going to top coat it.

Yes you can is the straight answer to this.

But do you need to is another question??

The gravitex has small crack lines where the seam sealer is underneath so I didn’t want to top coat straight over them

You could just try brushing over the crack lines with some Gravitex, or some thinned down seam sealer.

 

I had the same issue when i sprayed Gravitex on my lads car when it was far too cold

I did mine in a warm unit, nearly killed me with the fumes.
Went over the cracks with another coat but still showed up in a few places.

put light coats over seam sealer or it cracks, i found out the hard way too.

Epoxy primer is developed to spray on bare metal, which must be sanded before. 

 

I don't think it will work on gravitex ...
