The gravitex has small crack lines where the seam sealer is underneath so I didn’t want to top coat straight over them
You could just try brushing over the crack lines with some Gravitex, or some thinned down seam sealer.
I had the same issue when i sprayed Gravitex on my lads car when it was far too cold

Went over the cracks with another coat but still showed up in a few places.

put light coats over seam sealer or it cracks, i found out the hard way too.

Epoxy primer is developed to spray on bare metal, which must be sanded before.
I don't think it will work on gravitex ...
