Is the only difference (apart from the price) between WP and Radford headlamp rims the straight taper rather the curve of the standard Mini headlamp rim?

Also, Are they generally remanufactured and sold on ad genuine items?

I presume WP are long gone, at least the original coachbuilders must be?

Do you mean the ADO16 Princess 1100 and 1300 Vanden Plas Headlamp rims (1963-1974) which were often seen on coachbuilt Minis?

 

Back in the day I used to find them in breakers yards as an easy upgrade for Minis:-

You don't happen to have a couple in your collection of spares do you?

No spare ones unfortunately and it is quite hard to find good undamaged used ones with good chrome now.

Even back in the breakers yard days you often had to find at least two VP donor cars to get a good pair of rims as one side would nearly always be damaged!

 

These seem to be the cheapest new ones on ebay.
