Hello all !!

Thank you for letting me be a part of this forum. My story is probably similar to many of you. I have been wanting a classic mini since I was 15. I am 70 now. Got my first Mini when I was about 20 which was I believe a 1962 with a transplanted MG 1098 motor. The car itself was a rust bucket, far beyond my means at that time of bringing it back to life. I kept the motor but sold the body and began looking for another. Life took over as it usually does and I was not able to buy my 2nd Mini until about 15 years later, a 1974 mini 1000 which I was able to drive for about 3 months before the crank broke. Life and health issues once again occupied my time and money so she waited for me until several years ago when I figured it was now or never and began to get her roadworthy again. I will try and post photos of what I started with and where I am and will no doubt solicit the considerable knowledge from members of this forum to help finish the job. Thanking all of you in advance for suggestions and help.

Randy
