just a quick i hope helpful note re resetting the mpi mini radio /cassette ..it wont help if you dont have the code but will help if you get the ERR message ....
leave the key in the ACC position turned on for at least half hour (more if you have wrongly entered the code a number of times) ..if however if you have not just leave the key in the ACC position so the ERR code is visible but the ignition is NOT on..when you return to it the message should have changed from ERR to CODE..if it has and you know the code enter it by pressing the number 1 button..the first digit will flash..use the direction button to get the correct number up in the first digit..then press the number one button again hold it until the next digit flashes up and repeat the procedure until you have entered all four digits ..once done hold the number one button for three seconds and the unit will make an audible bleep and save the code ..the radio will automatically come on
