What worries me is the many rust-worm that I meet under the paint. They can clean up nicely but they are almost everywhere

This is a pain to deal with but hopefully it will clean up without removing too much metal you will be good.

 

This is also something i harp on about with new panels especially Heritage as a lot of folk think the E coat on Heritage is really good. It is but really good at hiding spider tracks of rust hence why i always recommend removing all of the E coat.

you could leave the floor in and take the back seat out instead

 

of course you'd have to change the way it's bolted to the rotisserie but it's no major drama really considering what you've done already

 

Not a bad idea, I will count with it

The nut for the seat brackets availble as a spare? Or is there rivnut for sale somewhere?

I really would like to spot weld the outer sill to the floor (and many other bits)

 

What arms do you use for the spotwelder to access the welding area ?
