When I post, it still posts my time as BST, not GMT, ie 1 hour in the future

I've wondered how time is recorded on a global platform, but never enough to ask.

Do our Aussie chums think we're permanently living in the past, or does your computer slap on a local time correction?

Im on Apple and my system clock is set automatically and is correct.

I will post this and check and then edit if its still wrong

Well it appears fixed now…as when I first posted yesterday it was definitely 4:28pm, not 5:28pm.

Oh well!

Looks right to me.

Forums display everything in the time zone of the user's account settings. For example to me it shows your post as 30 Oct 2023 - 8:28 PM

If you hover over the date/time of a post it then displays it in GMT

Obvious now you say it, we all have a location in our profile that'll be stored on the TMF mother ship.
