To bring this back on topic, how come any car with the Ford 1.0 Ecoboost isn't listed as the most unreliable, the problems those engines have are legendary, these surveys never seem to make sense at all.

Yep, early ones had teething problems, but on the whole they're very good.

Yep, early ones had teething problems, but on the whole they're very good.

Used to be able to engine swap into a mini. The had issues with the height of the engine I think. Was about 11k or so

In the late '90s I asked my mechanic mate what the cars they have the least problems with were - he said anything Japanese.  Doesn't look like much has changed there then.
