Apparently everyone is preferring the standard look these days so theyβre proving very difficult to find π€¦πΌββοΈ
Photos for inspiration would be great and any links to availability!
Many thanks π

They were all done as one offs by each person. Never seen a set made for the job.
David Brown used some readily available 55mm light units (carbuilder solutions) and will have made housings to house them.

To me that look is bordering on the line of the Three Pin Plug Wheels on a E Bini in another post. Sorry but that is my opinion just call me a traditionalist or old fashion or a silly old f--t. I don't mind which.
It puts me in mind of a few famous people having plastic surgery and looking bloody awful aftwards. But at least with that Mini it can be reversed.

I've got nothing against the flushed look but I don't like that particular surround they've made, it sort of clashes being halfway between the chrome and the body colour, nothing else is in that style so it stands out
I'd probably grind off the odd lumps down each side and paint it the same colour as the body, or chrome it, either way, that would be an improvement for me
and the fixings would be better on the inside so it's clean and smooth outside
actually if it was me and I was going flushed, I'll french them in so they were sort of horizontal across the back of the car, not on the corners poking out each way at an angle like that, and I prefer square lights I think, but each to their own
that's what makes modifications great you can do whatever you want

Do the lights actually point backwards? They look like they point out sideways a bit - personally not a fan
Flush lights would need some custom lenses and a revised light unit behind them I guess - pretty sure I saw something on one of the US car shows where they had lenses 3-D printed to make flush lights - for a Yank-Tank though not a mini
Anyone got a 3-D printer with translucent red/amber/clear plastic?

There are some local conversions using Corsa or first gen BMW MINI lights. I'll look for some pictures.
