Looking really good there. Very interested in going the Bseries route myself. One question (first of many I think!) is how exactly did Chris tackle the gear linkage? The Kseries has cable so that is relatively straight forward. But the B-series is not. I was talking to Chris about it and he did say he'd solved it. But how? Do you have any pictures?
Thanks,
Adam

Bseries are good engines......
Chris did tackle the gear linkage but I haven't seen it yet. It was the last part to be fabricated and haven't got it now. Should be here soon as they said they would send it all to me this week. Will check it out for you then....

Keep in touch,

So your mini is going to be finished this year????? You'll be the first in Holland with a drivable Zcars in Holland!!!! Awesome!
I know about wiring. I've started making mine, what a s**t load of work! Especially when you want to ad all kind of new stuf like gauges and different switches...... Can't wait to be done with that..... Hope your Formula 1 guy knows what he is doing..... Post up some pics if you have the time.....
Anyways..... I'm happy to have her on 4 wheels. Now to wait for the exhaust and driveshafts and some other little things and I will have my work cut out for this year. I'm pretty driven to have it finished next year. Will be cool to hit the streets together!
Cheers
Now it of to the garage!...............

Done the fuel lines (with pressure gauge), throttle pedal adjustments and fitted the header tank....
Just making the "to do" list shorter. LOL

Re-did the gas pedal because the cable wouldn't come back, re-did the fuel lines because the exhaust does run underneath the engine.... (I guest it didn't....) Exhaust is pre-fittted and did the handbrake cable......

I've also searched my ass off for the inner joints..... They are really hard to find here (or rediculously expensive) But hey! I got them!
I also made my own air filter box. This will probably be temp cause I'm going to fit an open filter after the test in Holland..... The inlet will be on the underside of the box and will run to the side of the mini.
The exhaus is nearly finished. (Many thanks to Poly Patje for the TIG welding) I only have to cut one pipe and spread one side so it can slide over another..... The 'noise' valve is installed too! (hope it helps....)
Further:
Installed and got it working, the gears and shifter! (no pics)
Got the engine cover done (no pics)
Got cluch lines in place! (no pics)
More to come soon

Keep up the good work and see you later!

Got some more pictures of my build for those who want to see!
(Needs finishing but) The fire proofing is almost done. Hope the battery can stay there behind the seats. Will test fit one tomorrow.....
This how the exhaust is going to look! Decided that the exit suits best in the middle......
Made the hole for the air inlet! used an old bass-pipe for it. Think it looks good and I can use this inlet too when the turbo is fittted.
Cheers!

The seats should fit in with no problem. My Kirkeys have about 6 inches more clearance even with my batteries, amp, etc....
