I am just curious what option people would go for the most given the chance do it and why
Options:
1: K1100 or K1200 head
2: Pro-motive R1 kit
3: Honda engine conversion

If you really, Really, REALLY, want a Mini, then there is only one option, swapping the cylinder head; although that won't really be a swap, as you have to cut valve recesses in the piston crowns and can't go back because you will have moved 7 head studs.
By all accounts, the Pr0-Motive is well engineered, but like fitting a Honda engine, is a lot of work, and at the end of it all, you no longer have anything but a mini shaped car.
Better to either drive a Honda or fit an R1 into something more aerodynamic.

A 7 port head would be my choice. Far simpler than the other options and plenty of power on tap. A friend of mine has a K100 headed 1380 and a 7 porter 1380. About the same power output from both.
