So I've not done an IMM before. If I buy a ticket for £140, what do I get for my money? I know members of one group were unhappy as there are no meal vouchers included but IDK what is included.

IMM's are a good chance to see other european cars meet new friends and party in main entertainment area on a night. Usually no big car show with loads of stalls and part of it is travelling there especially of our little isle!

£160 per person,and no day tickets?? I think I'll give that a miss even though it's less than an hour away, especially after the debacle that was the Bristol one last time!

Their reasoning from the website:
Traditionally UK IMMs celebrate every fifth and tenth anniversary of the Mini’s launch back in 1959. These events include a one day ‘Mini Show’ on the Sunday. Due to the (Covid) postponement of the Italian and German IMMs, the 2025 English IMM is the first not to fall on a milestone anniversary. To reflect this, the IMM 2025 crew are seeking to bring you (as close to) a traditional European style IMM here in England. Therefore, day tickets will not be sold.

£160 is steep! Not really selling it to folk as to what to expect for their hard earned 💰

I guess day tickets not being sold and the high ticket cost will put many UK based Mini enthusiasts off from attending....

The previous 2 IMMs,Italy and Germany, had day tickets as did in Portugal in 2018!

Yes, VERY expensive. I've spoken to friends in Switzerland, Belgium and France and they've already decided they won't be coming.

Personally, I'll only go if there are Day Tickets at a sensible price.

It will be a no fromn me. I'm less than 40 mins away but refuse to pay that price!

Have to agree. 160 is steep but I also get that they have considerable amount of overheads to pay..

Got to be a better balance somewhere...

Out of curiosity who comprises the organising committees for IMM events generally?

Usually Members of the Organising Club in the Country it is being held, as volunteers.
IMMs are 'bid for' at the preceeding IMM 2y before.

Where is IMM 2026 being held?

IMM 2026 I believe will be a Mini Klub Polska event close to the Polish border with Czechia

Yes. Mini Club Polska. The Germans and Hungarians are assisting them to organise. Went to Poland for IMM2006 looking forward to going again :-D
