just moved from Howdens to Adrian Flux , Howdens couldn't even be bothered to send my renewal quote and i'm still waiting for my insurance documents from last year for my 2nd mini , I received my documents from Adrian flux the very next day after insuring with them, Peyer Taylor were a brilliant company before being taken over and now no one seems to care ! great shame such a good company seems to have gone the way of most other rip off insurance company's.

Yep. Swines, they want £300 to insure a 1983 Mini 1000. When it was £160 last year.

I've been with them 4 or 5 years now and always had a good price. Paid 150 last month, modified mini with agreed value.

Been with A plan for years with my modified modern mini, always been very good, but had to go with Flux for my classic as no one else could get anywhere near price wise
I’m really no fan of Flux-my nephew had an absolute nightmare, all they wanted to do was supply him with a “ hire” car a micra or similar for an extortionate amount every day , when a taxi hit him, despite his car being driveable.supplied by a firm owned by Flux…..
And if the claim didn’t go his way, he’d have been on the hook for the hire charges…
One thing with A plan/howdens, I’ve always had issues with my car not showing on mid for a few days and I always have to phone up about it.
Very easy to get hold of , and deal with though-especially the Thatcham office for modified cars-staff are very good.
