If you’re after a set and not worried about originality, JB wheels sell them https://www.johnbrow...-4510SCSR410116

I am convinced that the LP918 (Dunlop number, equal to C-AHT182) was only meant for motorsports. It first appeared in the homologation papers 1st April 1969 as a variant for group 2, amendment no 4/2V.

The 850cc Mini Seven Racing Minis used them for many years to keep down costs when alloy wheels were very expensive in the 1960/70's. The first Mini 7 race was in 1966.

Martin, the Se7ens' used them even long into the 80s but the regulations were much more complicated as you were only able to use them on the rear if you had not fitted the wide brake drums etc.
I think BMC put them on the market because there were so many sub-standard "welded" steel wheels available that were really dangerous.

They were available direct from Dunlop under the "D2" line. Unfortunately the brochure below doesn't have a date, but it if the Mini Clubman is mentioned it must be 1970's

I run a set on my daily driven 998 with drum brakes and I absolutely love the look of them BUT wow are they heavy.
I stuck a set of standard 3.5" steels on when replacing the tyres and the difference in power, suspension and braking were very noticeable so from a performance perspective alloys are the way to go but for looks.............well I still have mine on the car :)
