hi as a dead line i have decided to do the 2025 rally a long way away but still welding the shell so i think 2024 will be tight

now i have emailed and messaged the club that runs it with no reply i even get there news letter each month so im hoping a few on hear have done this and wil help guide me to rough costs etc

First im taking the wife and i have a bad hip so will be in pain after a few hours Driving but can live with that im not going to go for a top spot i just want to be part of it so will use a gps as a back up will this be allowed

first thought was to train the mini down to half the traveling but i see they no longer do that so wouldnt mind taking a few more days to get to the start and cut driving down to 4-5 hours a day driving

last one at the moment im building the mni with out bumpers as thats how i had mine in the 80s with fury dice will europe allow that mod

many thanks and i will have loads more im in oxfordshire and would love to meet with someone that has done it or doing it dinner brought

Lovely idea.  Good luck.

I once failed scrutineering for no bumpers.  A friend  kindly loaned me his bumpers and I fixed them with some bits of light angle-iron.

I’ve done it twice, 2007 & 2009, so may be able to answer some questions. Seems odd you’ve had no response Freddie and Guilia are normally very good.
