I have a 79 1275GT, wpuld I be able to fit the Wipac’s without messing with electrics or would I need to mess around a bit?
Have to ask as bloody useless with wiring

If you can jam a plug into a socket, you can handle it. I've had the WIPAC Quadopics (with sidelights) LHD version on my car for 16 years. Love them! Easy to upgrade to the latest H4 bulbs, and bright enough that I've never had any desire or need for any auxiliary lights.

Can you send a link for the Wipac lights?

These are the right ones for US roads. They have the pilot light, so you will need to tap into the running lights (or turn signals). Not hard to do.

Wow! How did you even get that apart without destroying it? I think the answer would be to use the same adhesive that was on it before. Was it a hard setting glue or a softer silicone type sealer? There are several products available if you do a web search for headlight glass assembly adhesive or sealer. And I hope that there is some kind of alignment marks to make sure you get the lens back on in the proper orientation or your light beam pattern will be wrong. Good luck!

It was pretty easy with a heat gun to separate the glasses. I've made a "tool" in which I can fit and glue the lens in the correct position. The lens fits in only one position. Finally I glued them with Wuerth K+D. Now the glue is set, I will check them tomorrow.

I've never done this but I do know that a product with brand names Sika has very good bonding properties and is waterproof, just a suggestion ,as a cheaper alternative maybe a good brand of bathroom silicone sealant.
