Door Wiring

Worked on hundreds of cars and know how each manufacturer gets round the issue.
But with next to naff all space between the door and the pillar...
What does everyone else do.
I have a project on the go and need to run at least 6 wires to each door and obviously do not wish to nip any when the door closes...
Remember fitting central locking from a metro vandem plas back in the day... got to be a 20th century answer.
Any assistance greatfully appreciated...
Thanks....

You used to be able to get something made for the purpose. It was a tube you ran the wires though and it would be fixed to the A pillar and then slide through a grommet in and out of the door. They were available from car accessory shops back in the day but don't know if you can still get them. You could probably make something similar.

That's what I did. Just 2 grommets & some tubing. Drilled the hole in body a bit smaller so it squeezed that grommet more than the one in the door

I'm hunting for some "S" grommets to fit in my '99.
