Yes it easy to fit but it is also the front plate.so you need to pull the timing gear etc.
you can still find original ones from people selling used items. Be aware the Mini ones have a flat on the separator can while the Metro of others have a round can. The round can contacts the fan blades.

Thanks for the photo Nick! But then... I don't understand this. On the one hand, it is easy to adapt to my block, but on the other, the new cover or the breather will collide with the fan blades. So ... why do I want to spend 269 GBP on this ****? It's kind of useless.
No I was on about the original steel ones, not the DSN one.
would catch.

Metro type covers can be used if spacers fitted on the fan. Different thicknesses are available to allow the minimum offset to be used (..too much and you risk the fan fouling on the radiator core)

Cheap way - flatten Metro one with hammer
More expensive way - find a late mini cover with the flatter canister:

Cheap way - flatten Metro one with hammer to miss fan
Less cheap - cut and weld a flat section on the Metro one
More expensive way - find a late mini cover with the flatter canister:

Most expensive - the snazzy alloy version pictured above

Nick, sorry but I don't quite understand you. Remember one thing; My maternal language is not English.
We start from the beginning. With the DSN cover set, the breather or another par will hit on the fan blades, yes or not?
Thank you!

Hi
my 1275 did not have a breather on timing chain so when I sorted out my breather problems I mounted a right angled elbow
(actually a heater take block take off) directly onto timing cover with low profile bolt heads and installed hose from here into rocker cover end and another hose off other end of rocker cover to a catch can via tee with clutch end with NO large bit that has the mesh in it.
engine breaths well now.

The DSN one is fine. The catching issue is only with the original steel ones as per the photo.

I don't know what you think about this.
# By the way. You still selling that red timing cover that you made in the past ?
Cheers
