Hi. Joined today so, "Hello you mini folks"!

I don't think this question is technical, so I hope this is the correct place for it

My old Mk1 Mazda MX5 has a set of custom luggage to make best use of the limited boot space. I never regretted buying this. Very useful.

Now I am moving back to classic mini territory, I was wondering if custom luggage exists for a late 90s classic SPi/MPi mini? Now, the mini boot looks a fairly regular shape compared to the MX5. So it may be that some standard luggage sizes fit very well anyway, without the need for anything special.

How do you make best use of the space?

Cheers,

Raymond in Nottingham

Why buy a Toyota when you can have the real thing?

Nope. The only custom things were some baskets that fitted under the rear seats. Yo7 can get some aftermarket boot liner kits though.

you can get a surprising amount in a mini, hence no need for any custom luggage

This Japanese Mini Boot Bag is a neat idea.

Yeah, I have seen those. They look useful, but I was thinking more of luggage that filled the main space. I may be wrong, but I assumed that the boot bag provided some fixed extra space in the lid only. But thanks for that.

That pic was taken at the start of the journey! Very different faces at the end...
