thats awesome man!! i will still have to feddle with bump steer but i think im going in the right direction anyways hahah. and i mean i feel pretty confident in the welds, the only thing is, i didnt pre heat the cast first but its a little late for that now uggg. back in 2009, i had a lifted jeep with big tires and i fitted bigger dana 60 axles underneath. i welded one of the control arm mounts to the front differential casing which was cast and it held really nice for a good 2 years until one snowy day i was coming around a tight corner and some guy cut me off which forced me to drive into someones front yard where there was a giant snow bank. i hit the bank and the mount snapped off the casing. that was stick welded also but yeah that was the only time i had a weld fail on mee. in this mini case, mayb i could add metal bits around it for insurance??
Im sure it'll be solid but nothing wrong with a little bit extra insurance.
