First check the 3wires that go to the motor. There should be a Black, Black/Green and a Green.
The Black is the earth .
The Black/Green goes to the wiper on/off switch and pin 1 on the motor.
The Green is an ignition fed supply going to pin 2 on the motor.
With the ignition off check the Black/Green wire switches to earth when the wipe on/off switch is operated.
Switching on the ignition will give battery volts on the Green wire.
The Black wire is a permanent earth.
The system works as follows, with the ignition on when the on/off wiper switch is operated, this completes the motor circuit to earth and the motor runs.
When the on/off wiper switch is turned off the self park comes into operation, the permanent earth, Black wire, holds the earth on the motor until the motor sweeps into the insulated section on the park disc and the earth path is broken and the motor stops.
Understanding how the system works hopefully will help you fault find and point you in the right direction.
