I just got an email from Minisport, stating that they are now parteners with Recharged Heratige Ltd, who convert classic cars to electric.
Apparently, they have limited availability for 2023 so It will be interesting to see if they have any problems with DVLA.

I like the part ' DVLA registration assistance ' so in other words they will sell you the car but not register the conversion, seems a bit half arsed to me. And could all end in tears like the poor sod who started this thread.

Buy a scrapper with a V5, change the identity of the battery car, don't splash it over social media, get on with your life.

I didn't want to say it but fair game you have, and let's be honest either mk1,mk2,mk3 cooper s were either made from a totally different metal or they are pretty much the same.
