Hi all, it would be great to get valuation please.

1994 Rover Mini 35th Anniversary Edition 1275cc

Background

I inherited the car in 2020 and I had it serviced and MOT’d Aug 2021 as I thought I would try and see if I would use it, but I just don’t have the time for it unfortunately – I have driven it twice. It has been in storage since 2014 and I feel someone else would appreciate it a lot more than I can right now, so considering selling despite the sentimental value it has to me.

Vehicle Details

Manufacturer: Rover

Model: Mini

Year: 1994

Colour: Pearlescent Nevada Red

Engine: 1,275

Transmission: 4 speed manual

Fuel: Petrol

Millage: 32,883 miles

MOT: Last MOT was Aug 2021 and I would carry out another MOT before sale

Service: Unfortunately no previous paperwork, though serviced last year before MOT.

Interior: Blue-and-pink Jamboree cloth seat rim and matching door casings, floor mats

Equipment: Opening rear windows, R652 stereo

Exterior Trim: Chrome grille, bumpers, boot and door handles.

Exterior Decals: Mini 35 silver side coachline

Special Badges: Mini 35 Steering Wheel and Bonnet Badges

Wheels and tyres: Standard 12” steel wheels with good tread tyres all round (145/70R12)

Bodywork: very good condition with a few minor flaws – please see photos

Previous owners: 1

Please let me know if any further details would be useful. Thank you!

As you may or may not know, this is perhaps one the least desirable limited editions, as it's lacks alloys and a some say nice interior.

However any Mini that is in good condition will eventually find a buyer I'm sure.

Im sure you have done your own research, the nearest I can find at a dealer is this,

https://www.carandcl...om/car/C1490083

So private sale would obv be less, if it's as solid as it looks and doesn't need welding, £5.5k-£7k.

Thank you for sharing beardylondon! I did some research, though only found a handful of this edition and in not quite as good condition, so hopefully I can get something around this range.

Hi, I have a 35 too although yours must be one of the most original ones around. Even though an original 35 is probably not on anyone's shopping list, it's originality should only add to it's value. Even if people don't like the spec it is still a 1275 and the last ever carb model produced. You have a nice unmolested example.

This is a really unhelpful thing to say, given that you're trying to sell it... but if I were you I'd either just hang onto it for a while longer or try to sell it to someone that will keep it original!  Its amazing that its survived as original as that for 30 years... there will be someone out there who will love it for what it is, and not tear it to bits to Cooperise it...

Are you saying what I said is unhelpful?

Anyway, you are very late to the party Rob, 2 years in fact, as the original post was August 2022, I’m sure it’s long gone.
